I’ve just got hold of Season 1-4 on DVD – Miami Vice was indeed an iconic program from the 80s.
That Ferrari – which was actually a replica because it cost so much. I thought it was cool how Sonny Crockett wore Armani suits, drove a Fezza and lived on an expensive boat.
Back then the 80s were cool – UK and the rest of the world were so far behind. The Americans hand cars, brightly lit cities, cool clothes and hot chicks. Miami Vice encapsulated this perfectly.
I haven’t watched the film remake in disgust. It’s apparently trash.
Crockett – Tubbs – your my heroes! Just like Starsky and Hutch….but flashier.
